A handy comparison guide.
You’re trying to decide on a subscription service for unlimited digital assets like stock videos, photos, graphics templates, sound effects, and music. Maybe you’re a second away from pulling a trigger on one of these stock sites and decided to do a last-minute “Motion Array vs. Envato” web search.
Guess what? We've been there. So here’s some information to help choose between Motion Array and Envato Elements.
Price 💰
At $30/month on a monthly plan and $250 for an annual plan, Motion Array is cheaper if you’re going monthly but more expensive if you pay for the year upfront.
At $33/month on a monthly plan and $198 for an annual plan, Envato Elements is cheaper if you pay for the year upfront but more expensive if you’re going monthly.
Free Trial 💸
Envato Elements offers a 7-day free trial of its service, while Motion Array does not.
Stock Library 📚
Envato Elements has a more extensive stock video library than Motion Array.
Template Availability ❇️
Both services are pretty comprehensive on After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro templates. We found many of the same templates for things like lower thirds and infographics on both services. However, only Motion Array has a separate search category for motion graphics templates for Premiere Pro (also known as MOGRTs). This category makes it easy to filter your search to only get graphics templates you can use in the Adobe Essential Graphics panel.
Lightroom Presets for Photos 🌅
Envato Elements has LightRoom presets, while Motion Array does not.
Panel Extension for Adobe Premiere Pro 📽️
Motion Array has a panel extension tool for Adobe, while Envato Elements does not. This function is great if you’re in the middle of an edit and don’t feel like opening a browser to download and import each new asset into Premiere.
